Cycling trips totalling thousands of kilometers inspired candlemaker Giselle to craft a loving ode to Europe. The memories of scents of forests, flowers, herbs and fields found throughout our beautiful continent are brought together in the Nomad Collection. The minimalist tin can makes this candle lightweight and the perfect ravel companion.

Travel with us through Europe

The three new scents from the Nomad Collection give an intimate glimpse of the unique cycling trip Giselle and her partner made through Europe. The journey started on the Greek island of Zakynthos, then crossing Greece’s mainland, swamps in Montenegro, waterfalls in Bosnia and herbal gardens in Italy. Next up was climbing the fresh Alps, traversing the grain fields of France in the scorching heat and eventually reaching our final destination and home: the lovely city of Utrecht.

Rapeseed wax candles

We use 100% rapeseed wax for the Nomad Collection candles. This wax is sourced in Europe and made from the oil of the rapeseed plant. To us, this is the greatest tribute to Europe! Also, rapeseed can be considered a sustainable ingredient. Why? Bees absolutely love rapeseed flowers, as it blossoms early spring. Also, this crop restores the soil it grows on. Last but not least: the bright, yellow flowers look absolutely stunning!
